Podesk’s "drag and drop" functionality makes publishing video a snap through a small application you install on your desktop. You decide what to publish simply by dragging video from your desktop. Your video is compressed and hosted directly and instantly from your computer. Once published, you can access your video over a regular browser, or throught the podcast feed. Or if you are in a hurry, you can simply record from your webcam!

Podesk is using state of the art H.264 codec which is now reaching the masses with its support in the latest Flash Player.

And You can also publish mp3 files and Pictures!

How it works ?

Using Podesk is simple:

-  Enter a title and the text content of the video (it can be tags).
-  Drag and drop your videofile or press record to record from your webcam.

Podesk encodes, uploads the video to your web site and creates the thumbnails, the web page and the RSS2 wrapper for podcasting.

Solution

Podesk is composed of a desktop software : Podesk Publisher (Windows XP and Mac OSX), and a server side CMS (Content Management System) : Podesk Server.
