How do I install FFMPEG on my server for the FLV server side conversion ?
The FLV option requires the FFmpeg binary with MP3 (Lame) support. If you have shell access to the server, you can install ffmpeg with the packaging system of your linux distribution. Or compile it from the sourcecode.

Converted FLVs with old versions of FFmpeg have no metadata, Therefore, You may have to use FLVTool2 in order to know the dimension, duration... FLVTool2 is written in Ruby, so you may have to install Ruby on your server, too.

Does Podesk Publisher works with WordPress ?
Yes, it should work, as with any server side software as long as it respect the Podesk Publisher API.
But there is no ready made plugin available for now.
Why my published video doesn’t have sound ?
When files are muxed (MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 video clips), they contain interleaved audio and video tracks (they’re mixed together instead of stored in separate tracks). Because of this, Podesk cannot support them totally.
It’s a Quicktime issue.
If you want to find out if a movie file is "muxed," follow these steps :
Open the original movie file in QuickTime Player.
From the Window menu, chose Show Movie Info.
Click the More Info disclosure triangle in the Movie Info window (if it’s closed).
Note the entry next to "Format."
